Be There certificate
The Be There Certificate is a free, self-paced learning experience designed to increase mental health literacy and provide you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to safely support anyone who may be struggling with their mental health. It provides a deep understanding of Be There’s 5 Golden Rules — a simple but actionable framework on how to recognize when someone might be struggling with their mental health, your role in supporting that person, and how to connect them to the help they deserve.

FREE BRONZE MEDALLION AND BRONZE CROSS LIFEGUARDING COURSE
Mariners on Main is hosting a FREE Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross lifeguarding training happening in April! You must be at least 13 years old to register. Attendance is 100% mandatory.
When: April 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th & 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th.
(Thursdays and Fridays - 4:30pm-9pm, Saturdays and Sundays - 9am-6pm)

CyberStart Canada: Free Cybersecurity Program for Youth
CyberStart Canada is designed for individuals between the ages of 16 and 24, giving young talent the chance to dive into the exciting world of cybersecurity and develop key skills for the future.

The CyberStart Canada Microcredential Course is a free, beginner-friendly course designed to help you explore cybersecurity and learn how to stay safe online. Whether you’re thinking about a future in tech or want to understand how to keep yourself, your work, and your community safe online, this course is a great place to begin.

To be eligible, participants must be enrolled in a Canadian high school or post-secondary institution. Whether you're a high school student or continuing your education, this program is designed to complement your academic journey with hands-on cybersecurity learning.
